Plan International is seeking an Interim Talent Acquisition Manager to support its talent acquisition objectives. This role ensures the robust sourcing and resourcing of talent for key Mission Critical and hard-to-fill positions within the organisation worldwide and within the Global Hub (GH). The role is responsible for delivering process excellence and facilitating resourcing activities, including active sourcing and pipelining of talent, oversight of selection processes, and implementing improvements in tools and training to support the upskilling of People and Culture (P&C) staff and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process for key Mission-critical, international, and GH recruitments.
- Coordinate recruitment kick-off briefings with key stakeholders to agree and define the resourcing process and strategy, roles, responsibilities, talent pipelines, and context.
- Create and maintain robust selection criteria throughout the different stages of the recruitment process in line with specific requirement scoring criteria.
- Work alongside P&C colleagues and leadership to ensure succession plans are actively engaged with and utilized, particularly for Country Director positions.
- Drive momentum throughout recruitment campaigns, liaising with stakeholders to ensure timelines are adhered to and reducing time-to-hire in line with KPIs.
- Compose attractive, engaging adverts and written materials for prospective candidates to build brand engagement.
- Ensure a positive end-to-end service offering is given to all candidate applications.
- Provide training to Hiring Managers and interview panelists on screening and selecting candidates.
- Engage with external networks to build Plan International's reputation and talent pipelines.
- Negotiate offers with identified candidates in alignment with Plan’s total reward policy, ensuring compliance and parity.
- Support the continued improvement of the recruitment system (HRIS/Success Factors) to achieve operational excellence.
- Handle general recruitment coordination and administration, including drafting job descriptions, adverts, scoring matrices, and interview feedback.
Requirements
- A BA/BSc or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in facilitating end-to-end recruitment processes, especially for international or mission-critical roles.
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques and talent pipelining.
- Technical proficiency with HRIS systems, specifically Success Factors.
- Understanding of total reward policies and experience in negotiating employment offers.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
