LifeCare Hospitals Migori is expanding and is seeking passionate healthcare professionals to join its growing team. This role is intended for individuals committed to delivering quality, patient-centered healthcare within a dynamic medical environment. As an Intensivist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice and patient safety.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage life-threatening conditions in critically ill patients.
Oversee the care and treatment of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide guidance and support to ICU staff and patients' families.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant medical field.
Specialized training or certification in Critical Care/Intensive Care Medicine.
Valid registration and licensing with the relevant medical practitioners' board in Kenya.
Experience in managing critically ill patients is highly desirable.
