The Industrial Sales Engineer – Rubber Rollers & Print Consumables role involves identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across targeted industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance on industrial rubber and polyurethane rollers, managing customer relationships, and executing marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n#### Sales & Business Development\n- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across targeted industries.\n- Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.\n- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry partners.\n- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.\n- Achieve set sales targets and contribute to strategic growth plans.\n- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and emerging trends.\n- Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain updated CRM records.\n\n#### Technical Support\n- Understand and explain technical features, benefits, and specifications of industrial rubber and polyurethane rollers.\n- Provide customers with technical guidance on product selection, usage, and maintenance.\n- Work closely with production and engineering teams to address customer requirements and quality concerns.\n- Assist in product testing, sampling, and performance evaluations with clients.\n\n#### Marketing & Brand Promotion\n- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote products and brand visibility.\n- Create marketing materials including brochures, product sheets, and digital content.\n- Manage social media pages, website content, and digital marketing initiatives.\n- Plan and execute exhibitions, trade fairs, plant tours, and customer engagement events.\n- Conduct market research to identify new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.\n\n#### Reporting & Administration\n- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.\n- Maintain good documentation of customer interactions, orders, and feedback.\n- Support management in developing annual sales and marketing strategies.\n\n### Qualifications & Experience\n- Diploma in Sales, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\n- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in technical mechanical sales or marketing within the print consumables, flexographic and offset printing, rubber rollers, or industrial machinery industry.\n- Previous experience in technical sales, industrial manufacturing, or engineering services is a significant advantage.\n- Strong technical understanding of print consumables, flexo and offset printing, rubber rollers, or industrial machinery.\n- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer portfolios.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online through the CDL Zoho Recruit portal at https://www.myjobmag.co.ke/apply-now/1173461
