Eastnat Foods is a homegrown healthy food company whose main focus is the packaging and distribution of healthy foods, including the best honey in Kenya harvested from natural forests and smallholder beekeepers. We are looking for an In-Store Sales Person & Wellness Advisor to join our Kisumu team. This role combines nutritional expertise with retail sales and digital content creation to promote a healthy lifestyle through our products.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in-store by providing expert advice on wellness and nutritional products.
Recommend products and advise customers based on their specific health needs and goals.
Proactively drive sales through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.
Create and engage content on social media platforms including Meta (Instagram, Facebook) and TikTok to promote wellness.
Utilize design tools like Canva to create visually appealing content for marketing purposes.
Perform administrative tasks and reporting using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Translate nutritional knowledge into practical, actionable product recommendations for a diverse customer base.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
Proven experience recommending products or advising customers based on specific needs.
A strong interest in natural wellness, herbal, and nutritional products.
Social media acumen with the ability to create engaging content on TikTok and Meta.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.
Previous experience in a wellness store, organic shop, pharmacy, or health-focused retail environment is an added advantage.
