The In-House Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales by converting walk-in customers, inbound inquiries, and leads into confirmed orders. The role ensures excellent customer engagement while delivering a consistent Royal Mabati sales and brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to in-person or inbound customer inquiries about products and pricing.
Promote products and close sales within the office/showroom environment.
Follow up on internal leads and referrals.
Update CRM with lead status and interaction notes.
Provide personalized service and build rapport with walk-in clients.
Handle objections and guide customers through the purchase process.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets.
Report daily sales figures and lead conversions.
Adhere to company sales policies and procedures.
Ensure accuracy in product descriptions and price communication.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
1-3 years' experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred.
Experience in roofing, construction, hardware, or manufacturing is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and persuasion skills (English & Kiswahili).
Sales-driven with strong closing ability.
Customer-focused and results-oriented.
Ability to explain technical products clearly.
Organized and detail-oriented.
