Import & Export Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Import/Export Activities while prepping and verifying trade documentation.
• Ensure Compliance with customs and trade regulations.
• Arrange transportation/Logistics and track and monitor shipments.
• Calculate and Manage shipping costs, duties, taxes, and other related expenses to maintain cost-effective operations.
• Maintain Accurate records of all import/export transactions, invoices, permits, and shipment documents.
• Resolve shipping and customs issues like delays, damaged goods, missing documents, or customs disputes promptly and professionally.
• Support Inventory and Supply Chain Operations.
• Monitor Market and regulatory changes on trade policies, tariffs, and international market conditions affecting business operations.

Education and Experience

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1–3 years’ experience in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Professional certification and relevant experience in international trade operations will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience in import and export operations, including customs documentation, shipment coordination, logistics management, and compliance with international trade regulations.
