About the Role
AGL (Africa Global Logistics) is seeking an IFF Operator - Forklift to join the team in Nairobi. The role involves operating forklift machinery to safely transport, load, offload, and stack goods within the warehouse facility while adhering to company operating and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and deliver goods as assigned.
Inspect the forklift before each shift, report defects, and ensure it is in safe working condition.
Load and offload clients' goods according to warehouse supervisors' instructions.
Safely stack goods in the warehouse and keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Follow all occupational health and safety, food safety, and company operating procedures.
Work closely with warehouse supervisor and other team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Ensure safe handling of the forklift to minimize damage and expenses.
Report any damage to the forklift to the workshop team.
Requirements & Qualifications
O Level certificate / BA, BSc, HND qualification
Valid relevant driving license
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Forklift Operations or a related field
