The role of the ICT Officer I, ICT Security involves ensuring the security of the Judicial Service Commission's ICT infrastructure and systems. This is a technical role requiring expertise in implementing and managing various security tools and protocols.
Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science & Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Technology (BBIT), Computing Science and Technology, Computer Security and Forensics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Networking certification in either CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent ICT Security certification.
- Be a member of a recognized professional body.
- Met the Requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Experience
Applicants must meet the following experience criteria:
- Served for a minimum of three (3) years at the grade of ICT Officer II (Security), JSG 6 or in a comparable position.
- Experience working on Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, Python, PHP, bash scripting and or PowerShell, Penetration Testing, etc.
- Demonstrated competency in the implementation and administration of various security tools such as Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web application firewalls, Anti-DDOS, Antivirus, DLP.
- Deployment of Cisco and or Fortinet security solution will be an added advantage.
