The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the hospital's ICT infrastructure, ensuring the efficiency of systems, and safeguarding data through robust security measures.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain the hospital’s ICT infrastructure including networks, servers, hardware, and software.
System Optimization: Oversee the Hospital Information System (HIS), electronic health records (EHR), and billing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Cybersecurity and Compliance: Implement IT security policies, ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act, and proactively manage cybersecurity threats.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the hospital’s overall strategic plan.
Financial Management: Manage the ICT department budget effectively.
Support and Training: Lead the ICT team in providing technical support and conduct regular staff training on system usage.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of work experience within a healthcare setup.
Proven technical skills in networking, server administration, and database management.
