Hydrogeologist I

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Kenyan Citizenship.
• Served in the grade of Hydrologist II (Job Group K) or its equivalent for a minimum period of three (3) years or in a comparable and relevant position.
• A Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines: Hydrology, Geology (with a relevant hydrogeology focus), Geoscience with a concentration in hydrogeological or groundwater science, or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Proven competence and merit in work performance.
• Strong communication, analytical, and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Additional Information

• Those with foreign degrees should have them authenticated by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
• Successful applicants will be required to meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
• The Board does not charge any fee for interviews or processing of applications.
• Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
