Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is looking for a Human Resource Officer Intern to join their team. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a graduate to gain hands-on experience in the power generation industry, focusing on various HR functions including policy implementation, talent management, and employee welfare.
Responsibilities
HR Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation of Human Resource policies, procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Talent Acquisition: Participate in the recruitment, placement process, and the on-boarding of new employees.
Training and Development: Support the coordination of organizational training programs.
Performance Management: Help in the implementation and coordination of performance management frameworks.
Employee Wellness: Assist in managing and maintaining the employee medical and wellness schemes.
Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant labor and employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized university.
Flexibility: Candidates must be prepared to serve in any of the company's business areas across Kenya.
