Job Description
Trident Plumbers Limited, a private limited company established in 1988 and a member of the Kenya Association of Public and Civil Engineering Contractors (KABSEC), is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Officer to manage its end-to-end HR functions. With over 30 years of experience providing plumbing, heating, gas, fire protection, and HVAC services, the company is looking for a professional to play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, payroll administration, compliance, and fostering a positive organizational culture. This is an urgent hire for a candidate who is available immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
Records Management: Maintain and update employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
Payroll Administration: Coordinate with the finance department to administer payroll processes.
Attendance Management: Oversee leave and attendance management and ensure accurate documentation.
Compliance: Ensure HR compliance with company policies, Kenyan labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
Insurance & Welfare: Process company insurance claims, liaise with service providers, and coordinate employee welfare initiatives.
Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to established procedures.
Organizational Culture: Promote and support a positive organizational culture and manage onboarding and separation processes.
Quality Management: Coordinate activities related to the Quality Management System (QMS).
Performance & Compensation: Support the implementation of performance management processes and assist in compensation and reward management initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional HR certification will be an added advantage.
At least 3 years of experience managing end-to-end HR functions.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
Knowledge of using ERP in the management of HR functions is an added advantage.
