Job Description
Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is looking to engage a Human Resource Assistant Intern. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Human Resource section, gaining valuable experience in HR operations within a leading energy sector player.
Role Purpose
To support the Human Resource department in various administrative tasks including documentation, recruitment logistics, and records management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Documentation: Drafting official letters, memos, and circulars.
Office Administration: Providing administrative support to staff, including the reservation and receipt of stationery, keeping accurate records, and monitoring consumption.
Records Management: Filing and retrieving employee records and section files to ensure organized and accessible data.
Recruitment Support: Receiving job applications and compiling data for shortlisting. Assisting in inviting candidates and panelists for interviews and distributing interview packs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Must hold a Diploma in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Flexibility: Candidates must be prepared to serve in any of KenGen's business areas across Kenya.
