Maseno University is seeking to recruit thirty (30) Hostel Attendants to support its student accommodation services. This role is a temporary position aimed at ensuring that university hostels are well-maintained, hygienic, and safe for student occupancy. The position requires individuals who are diligent, organized, and capable of providing excellent service to the student community.
Terms of Service
These positions are offered on a Fixed Term Contract, non-renewable for a maximum period of Six (6) months.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and high standards of hygiene within the university hostel premises, including common areas and rooms.
Assist in the day-to-day management of student accommodation facilities and hostel logistics.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues, repairs, or facility damages to the relevant authorities immediately.
Ensure the security and safety of university assets and student property within the hostels.
Provide general support and information to students residing in the hostels, fostering a conducive living environment.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications

Possession of relevant academic and professional certificates.

Commitment to the full duration of the six-month fixed-term contract.
