Oasis Healthcare Group is a provider of referral healthcare services aimed at delivering quality care through a dedicated team of specialists and professionals. We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Hospital Administrator to join our team in Eldoret. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing departmental budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and patient care. Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth hospital functioning.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal hospital policies.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team including clinical and administrative staff. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes growth and morale.
Performance Management: Conduct staff performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement professional development programs.
Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the facility’s budget, including revenue and expense forecasting. Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Patient Advocacy: Address patient complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategic plans and identify opportunities for service expansion or program development.
Community Engagement: Represent the hospital at community events and within professional organizations. Maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources.
Public Relations: Promote outpatient services through marketing and public relations initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in any business-related course or Healthcare Management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration.
Proven track record of successful leadership and management within a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
