The Health Records Trainer at Kisiwa Technical Institute is responsible for delivering high-quality technical education and training to students specializing in health information management. The role involves curriculum design, classroom instruction, and the practical supervision of students during their industrial placements to ensure they meet professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive training sessions on technical subjects within the health records curriculum.
Instruction:
Assessment: Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, examinations, and performance reviews.
Supervision: Oversee and mentor students while they are on Industrial Attachment to ensure the acquisition of relevant practical experience.
Research: Undertake continuous research in health records management and related training areas to remain updated with industry trends and advancements.
Curriculum Development: Design and develop curriculum and training materials tailored to specific learning objectives and student needs.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Health Records.
Must have a Certificate in Pedagogy (teaching methods).
Must be registered with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).
