Kiharu Technical College Murang'a is seeking a qualified Health Records and Information Technology Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on training, delivering market-driven courses, and creating a supportive environment for trainees. The role involves preparing students for real-world success through quality education, innovation, and industry connections within the Health Records and Information Technology specialization.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions in specific areas of specialization related to Health Records and IT.
Develop technical teaching and training materials and prepare timely professional records.
Maintain accurate student records to monitor progress, achievements, and attendance.
Instruct, guide, evaluate, and supervise trainees during practical exercises and industrial attachments.
Participate actively in the development of curricula and training programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Degree in the relevant field or Level 6 (Higher Diploma) in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized/accredited institution.
Ability to train TVET CDACC Curriculum effectively.
Experience in teaching (at least one year experience) is an added advantage.
Valid TVETA Trainer License (registration with TVETA) and a pedagogy training certificate will be an added advantage.
