Mwananchi Credit Limited is seeking a Head of Collection & Recovery to lead debt recovery strategies and framework implementation, oversee end-to-end collection workflows, manage portfolio recoveries and legal proceedings, and maintain regulatory adherence and fair customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Governance: Lead debt recovery strategies and framework implementation.
- Collections Operations: Oversee end-to-end collection workflows.
- Recovery & Legal: Manage portfolio recoveries and legal proceedings.
- Compliance & Customer Treatment: Maintain regulatory adherence and fair customer engagement.
- Analytics & People: Leverage analytics to optimize team performance and portfolio quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Professional Certification: CPA (K), ACCA, CCP, or Credit-Management Certification.
- Experience: 10+ years in banking/microfinance operations, with at least 5 years at a senior management level.
