Mwananchi Credit Limited, a leading microfinance provider in Kenya, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head of Collection & Recovery to lead our collections and recovery functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Governance & Collections Operations: Develop and execute strategic initiatives for collections and monitor operational performance.
Recovery and Legal: Lead recovery efforts and coordinate legal actions for non-performing portfolios.
Compliance and Customer Treatment: Maintain compliance with standard regulations and ensure fair, respectful customer interactions.
Analytics and People: Leverage data analytics to optimize collections and recoveries while leading, mentoring, and developing the team.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
Professional qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA, CCP, or credit-management certification.
At least 10 years' experience in banking or microfinance operations, 5 of which must be at a senior management level.
