The Head of Brokerage will develop and implement long-term and short-term strategies for the brokerage business, overseeing business plans, annual budgets, and driving market growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement long and short-term strategies for the brokerage business, including the preparation of business plans and annual budgets.
Achieve business targets in terms of volumes, market share, and profits across all business segments.
Maintain KCB's leadership position in the brokerage market, ensuring continuous growth and profitability.
Plan and implement business development strategies targeting foreign/domestic institutions, corporate bodies, and High Net Worth (HNW) individuals.
Act as the primary contact for foreign institutional investors to build a strong international customer base.
Lead the development of new service delivery channels and strategic partnerships to boost market share.
Leverage synergies from regional investments to spearhead expansion across borders.
Maintain and foster excellent relationships with key clients.
Formulate training programs and product refreshers for the brokerage team.
Ensure full compliance with Bank policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Lead, coach, and inspire direct and indirect reports within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
A professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Brokerage Business.
At least 5 years of experience in senior management within Investment Banking business development.
At least 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis.
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading sales force teams.
