Job Description
MSVL Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to lead its bakery production and operations. The role involves overseeing daily bakery activities, ensuring production schedules are met with efficiency, and driving innovation through recipe development. The ideal candidate will be a professional with a strong background in baking and pastry arts, capable of supervising a team while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality control.
Responsibilities
Bakery Production & Operations: Oversee daily bakery operations, manage production schedules, and ensure timely and efficient output.
Recipe Development & Product Innovation: Develop and standardize bakery recipes while introducing new products aligned with customer preferences and market trends.
Team Leadership & Staff Development: Train, mentor, and supervise bakery staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Quality Control & Food Safety: Ensure product consistency, maintain quality standards, and enforce compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with purchasing and sales teams, and support cost control and budgeting initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
6-9 years of experience in bakery production or related roles.
Strong professional baking and pastry expertise.
Proven experience in recipe development and bakery operations management.
Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
