Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is looking for a Geomatist Intern to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical experience in geospatial data collection, survey management, and mapping within the energy sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collect geospatial data and digitize it for analysis, storage, and retrieval.
Maintain and validate Geomatics & GIS equipment.
Conduct cadastral boundary and infrastructure surveys.
Conduct well pad levelling and deformation monitoring.
Conduct topographic surveys and geotechnical monitoring.
Collect and analyze geospatial data.
Prepare, process, and produce geospatial, cadastral maps, and drawings.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, or a related equivalent from a recognized institution.
Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the KenGen business areas in Kenya.
