Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) is offering an internship opportunity for a Geologist Intern. The role involves supporting technical teams in geothermal and other generating facility developments across Kenya.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preparing inception reports and conducting reconnaissance surveys.
Preparing for and participating in laboratory activities.
Participating in geological well logging during drilling operations.
Conducting geotechnical investigations and hydrological surveys.
Contributing to well prognosis and assisting in well siting decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, Geological Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Must be prepared to serve in any of KenGen’s business areas within Kenya.
This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates to gain practical experience.
