The University of Embu (UoEm) is offering a funded Master of Science opportunity in Civil Engineering (Water & Environmental Engineering) under the HEST II Project provisions for the 2026/2027 academic year. Successful applicants will be engaged as Graduate Assistants while pursuing their degree and will be expected to transition to a Ph.D. programme upon completion.
Scholarship Package
The scholarship covers tuition fees, research/project costs, and assessment costs for the prescribed duration of study, subject to approved HEST II Project provisions.
Programmes of study are scheduled to commence during the 2026/2027 academic year.
Terms of Engagement & Key Responsibilities
Engaged as Graduate Assistants to perform supervised duties including tutorial instruction, laboratory/field practicals, assessment support, student mentorship, and research activities.
Bonded under the applicable terms and conditions of the University of Embu.
Expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress and complete studies within the prescribed duration.
Expected to transition to a Ph.D. under the scholarship programme upon successful completion of the Master's Programme.
