The Backend / Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and services. The role requires expertise in modern programming frameworks, cloud-native development, DevSecOps practices, and software engineering best practices to support the delivery of robust digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications, APIs, and microservices.
Build scalable and secure enterprise-grade solutions using modern development frameworks.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
Implement application security controls and secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and application defects.
Architecture & Engineering
Contribute to solution design and technical architecture discussions.
Develop cloud-native and containerized applications.
Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, performant, and maintainable.
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
DevSecOps & CI/CD
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
Integrate security controls into development and deployment processes.
Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to implement infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation.
Monitor application performance and support operational excellence.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
Support automated testing and quality assurance frameworks.
Ensure code quality through peer reviews, static code analysis, and test coverage metrics.
Participate in release management and deployment activities.
Cloud & Containerization
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
Utilize container technologies for application packaging and deployment.
Support platform modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native capabilities.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and other developers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Provide technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
