Job Description
Our client is recruiting for a Finished Goods Stores Assistant who will serve as the custodian of four finished goods chemical stores. The role involves handling customer order processing, dispatch, loading, and stock replenishment from production. The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory control, safe handling of chemicals, and timely dispatch to customers or distribution teams.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Finished Goods Handling
Receive finished chemical products from production.
Inventory Management
Maintain stock records using manual logs or ERP systems.
Storage & Safety
Store chemicals according to safety standards (temperature, labeling, segregation).
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (Expiry-based) protocols.
Issuing & Dispatch
Issue finished goods based on approved requisitions/orders.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and issue records.
Stock Control & Audits
Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counts & full inventory).
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial / Applied Chemistry (specifically for chemical environments).
Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse or stores management.
