A leading multinational is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial accounting, statutory reporting, and risk management. As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, you will ensure balance sheet and P&L integrity, strengthen governance, and act as the financial conscience of the business. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive financial fitness across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end financial accounting and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations
Own and drive balance sheet and P&L integrity, proactively resolving variances
Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
Lead enterprise risk management and advise leadership on risk-informed decisions
Partner with business teams to drive performance and profitability
Oversee finance operations including AR, GL, reporting, expenses, and asset management
Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital optimisation
Drive cost discipline and budget management
Ensure excellence in audits, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions
Lead transformation projects and process improvements
Coach and develop finance teams to sustain high performance
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) required
MBA or Master’s degree in Finance/Business is an advantage
10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with senior leadership exposure
Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, and audit management
Experience in internal controls, risk management, treasury, and governance
Proven track record in financial control within a multinational/matrix environment
