KCA University (KCAU) is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will build predictive financial models, conduct budget analysis, perform strategic scholarship calibration, and deliver data-driven financial insights to support the institution's viability and operational growth.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n#### Revenue Modelling & Enrollment Analytics\n* Build, maintain, and update predictive financial models to forecast tuition revenue.\n* Analyse the financial impact of national student funding shifts.\n* Collaborate with the Admissions and Institutional Research teams to quantify the financial return on recruitment investments.\n\n#### Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis\n* Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and review of the University’s annual operating and capital budgets.\n* Perform monthly and quarterly financial variance analysis.\n* Identify structural revenue risks and cost-saving opportunities across academic and administrative units.\n\n#### Strategic Financial Aid & Scholarships Calibration\n* Conduct affordability risk assessments.\n* Develop mathematical models to calibrate internal scholarships and financial aid distribution.\n* Assess the affordability thresholds of various student income categories to recommend optimal, sustainable tuition pricing structures for new and existing academic programmes.\n\n#### Academic Portfolio & Market Costing\n* Perform cost-benefit analyses on the University’s academic portfolio to assess financial viability and sustainability.\n* Provide data-driven financial recommendations for launching new academic programmes or restructuring existing curricula.\n\n#### Financial Reporting & Compliance\n* Prepare comprehensive financial dashboards, executive summaries, and strategic concept papers.\n* Synthesise complex financial datasets into clear, non-technical presentations to guide decision-making.\n* Ensure all financial analysis and data collection comply with institutional data governance policies and national data protection regulations.\n* Any other duty assigned by the supervisor from time to time.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n* Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business, or related area from an accredited/ recognised University.\n* Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and a Member of ICPAK in good standing.\n* Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA).\n* At least 4 years of experience in financial data analytics.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified?
