Ed-admin is an innovative developer of creative products and services providing powerful solutions, including learning management software, tailor-made educational solutions, and large-scale management applications. We are looking for a Finance Support Consultant to manage the implementation, training, and support of our finance modules for clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Implementation (Focusing on Finance Modules)
- Conduct online meetings with new clients to review expectations and create written implementation plans with milestones and deliverables.
- Create transference documents for clients migrating from competing products to Ed-admin.
- Travel to client sites as needed to ensure implementation success.
- Ensure the live status of an implementation is visible and evident at all times.
- Provide a bridge between implementation and training by guiding the client through a basic orientation of the product via virtual meetings.
Training
- Conduct online room-based training for staff groups of approximately 10-20.
- Host online training webinars for a wide variety and number of clients.
- Perform client service and extra training visits to existing clients.
Support
- Deal directly with clients via telephone, online, or face-to-face.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and resolve complaints.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries.
- Organise workflow to meet client timeframes.
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resource.
- Log all work, including client interactions and transactions, in EMS+ on a daily basis using Supertrack.
- Maintain client data in EMS+ (client management and ticketing software).
- Follow up on client interactions and provide feedback on service process efficiency.
Product & ICT Development
- Undertake software testing as part of the development release cycle.
- Develop deep knowledge of products and applications.
- Work closely with software development teams to feed in product requirements and contribute to the future development roadmap.
Teamwork
- Support the Support and Sales Managers by demonstrating Ed-admin to potential clients.
- Identify opportunities for sales while communicating with existing clients and pass relevant details to the sales team.
- Interact and cooperate with all team members regardless of work location.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Ensure all work is recorded accurately in the company CRM on a daily basis.
Requirements
Education
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
- Preferred: Essential education accompanied by software-related qualifications.
Experience
- Essential: Experience in the software and/or education sector with a focus on MIS software solutions.
- Essential: Strong understanding of general ledger structures, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and fee billing, financial controls, and compliance.
- Preferred: 3+ years in financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and/or audit preparation.
- Preferred: Minimum 2+ years of experience in support service delivery with a background in software consultancy.
