Finance Manager – Fairchain Coffee Kenya (EPZ) Ltd

As the Finance Manager, you are responsible for the full financial management of the FairChain Kenya factory. You ensure accurate reporting, strong financial control, and provide operational insights that support decision-making. This is a hands-on role in a production environment where finance is closely integrated with operations. You report directly to the Group CFO and work closely with the COO and the local operations team. This position is ideal for an audit-trained professional who wants to move away from pure audit or reporting and become actively involved in business operations.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Manage the full financial administration of FairChain Kenya\n- Prepare weekly management reports and financial analysis\n- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes\n- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management\n- Monitor production costs, margins, and operational performance\n- Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory requirements\n- Support external audits and regulatory reporting\n- Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting structures\n- Work closely with operations to improve efficiency and cost control\n- Supervise and support local finance staff\n\n### Systems & Tools\n- Experience with Odoo ERP is a strong advantage\n- Experience with other ERP systems is required if no Odoo experience\n- Strong Excel skills\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- CPA-K (Finalist) – mandatory\n- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics\n- Experience at an audit firm is strongly preferred\n- 4–6 years of audit or finance experience\n- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and financial controls\n- Experience in a production or operational environment is an advantage\n\n### Competencies\n- Team player with experience guiding or supervising staff\n- Hands-on, practical mindset and strong problem-solving skills\n- “Can-do” mentality and ownership attitude\n- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment\n- Strong written and spoken English\n- Structured, accurate, and deadline-oriented\n\n### What We Offer\n- Salary: USD 600 per month, with growth opportunities based on performance\n- A key finance role within an international impact-driven organization\n- Exposure to international business and coffee production operations\n- Opportunity to grow into a broader finance or leadership role within the FairChain Group\n\n### How to Apply\nSend your CV and a short motivation (Cover letter) to: with the subject line: .
