This role involves supporting the finance department by keeping accurate financial records, processing member transactions correctly, and helping ensure the financial health of the SACCO. The candidate will work under the guidance of the finance team to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with the SACCO's policies.
Responsibilities
Process daily member transactions like deposits, withdrawals, reversals, and other transactions accurately.
Support with daily and monthly reconciliation of member personal accounts.
Prepare payment vouchers and assist with processing the SACCO’s bills and expenses.
Maintain organized financial files and documents for easy reference and audit.
Follow all SACCO financial policies and procedures carefully.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements
Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting option.
Professional: CPAK will be an added advantage.
Experience: Fresh graduate from university.
Attributes: Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and detail-oriented.
Legal: Successful candidates must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
