Field Operator - Wireline

As a Wireline Operator at Baker Hughes, you will receive established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity. You will perform basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop, including maintenance, job preparation, tool pre-job and post-job checkouts, and rigging up and rigging down according to HSE requirements. \n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Carry out preventative maintenance and operation of a range of wireline winches and surface equipment.\n- Conduct all activities in line with company non-negotiables, applicable processes, and cultural pillars.\n- Follow established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity, performing basic duties at the wellsite and at the shop.\n- Prepare equipment and maintain working knowledge of the Permit to Work system prior to operations commencing.\n- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and the delivery of TCP operations.\n- Repair and maintain all pressure control equipment under supervision.\n- Assist in pre-operational checks of wireline units and associated equipment.\n- Assist in the maintenance of downhole tools and basic wellhead maintenance.\n- Prepare reports for both onshore and offshore use.\n- Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures as identified in Company manuals are always adhered to.\n- Ensure all functions are performed in accordance with Company safety and environmental procedures.\n- Attend Client QHSE meetings.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- BA/BSc/HND qualification in a relevant technical field.\n- A proven track record for wireline TCP service delivery and safety focus.\n- A sound mechanical aptitude.\n- Good communication skills and the ability to be a team player.\n- Competence in MS Office applications.\n- Possession of necessary local certifications and medical clearances as required.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified?
