Our specialization lies in tailoring comprehensive HR services to meet your organization's unique needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated Field Officer to be based in Homa Bay. This role involves extensive fieldwork to monitor ongoing activities, support HR processes, and ensure operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct regular field visits to monitor ongoing activities and provide accurate, timely reports. Collect, verify, and maintain field data for reporting and decision-making.
HR and Staff Management: Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff management processes by ensuring field compliance with HR and administrative requirements. Track staff attendance, leave utilization, and performance in field locations.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure employees in the field adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and statutory regulations.
Operational Support: Act as the first point of contact for field employees on operational and administrative issues. Liaise with the head office to coordinate logistics, documentation, and field resources.
Employee Relations: Support grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution in the field. Organize and coordinate field-level staff engagement activities, trainings, and team-building initiatives.
Project Implementation: Assist in the implementation of company projects, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines. Provide feedback from the field to management on operational gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of field activities and support compliance with audits and statutory requirements. Prepare periodic field reports including staffing, performance, and project updates.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Community Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a field-based role, operations, or project coordination.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and field operations management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRMIS or data collection tools is an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
Must currently reside in Homa Bay.
Willingness to undertake extensive fieldwork.
