Field Enumerators and Supervisors - Meru

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake field-based data collection in designated areas within Meru county.
• Engage professionally and build rapport with local communities and respondents.
• Use digital devices to accurately capture and submit interview and survey responses.
• Supervise the data collection process and support field operations (for supervisors).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Residency: Must be a resident of Meru county.
• Education: Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
• Experience: Have at least three (3) years of experience in data collection.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with local communities.
• Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) platforms, including:
  • ODK
  • Survey CTO
  • Kobo Collect
  • Survey To Go
• Device Specifications: Own a tablet or smartphone that meets the following specifications:
  • Android 10 or higher
  • Minimum of 4 GB RAM
  • Screen size of at least 6 inches
• Availability: Be available for field assignments for the next three months.
• Documentation: Provide a recommendation letter from a previous employer or supervisor.
