Field Enumerators and Supervisors - Makueni

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field data collection and public surveys within Makueni County.
• Engage professionally with local communities and build rapport with diverse respondents.
• Utilize digital data entry tools and Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) platforms to record research outcomes accurately.
• For supervisors: coordinate daily operations of field teams and verify data quality.

Requirements

• Residency: Must be a resident of Makueni County.
• Education: Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
• Experience: Have at least three (3) years of experience in data collection.
• Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) platforms, including ODK, Survey CTO, Kobo Collect, and Survey To Go.
• Device Ownership: Own a tablet or smartphone meeting the following specifications:
  • Android 10 or higher
  • Minimum of 4 GB RAM
  • Screen size of at least 6 inches
• Availability: Be available for field assignments for the next three months.
• Recommendations: Provide a recommendation letter from a previous employer or supervisor.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with local communities.
