About the Role
This role involves data collection, community engagement, and supporting research activities that inform decision-making and policy insights.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field data collection using Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) platforms.
Engage professionally with local communities to collect accurate information.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and timely submission of collected data.
Support and coordinate field activities (for Supervisors).
Work closely with the project coordinator to meet set deadlines and targets.
Requirements and Qualifications
Residency: Must be a resident of Kakamega county.
Education: Hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
Experience: Have at least three (3) years of experience in data collection.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with local communities.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) platforms (ODK, Survey CTO, Kobo Collect, Survey To Go).
Equipment: Must own a tablet or smartphone meeting the following specifications: Android 10 or higher, minimum of 4 GB RAM, screen size of at least 6 inches.
Availability: Be available for field assignments for the next three months.
Reference: Provide a recommendation letter from a previous employer or supervisor.
