This critical role ensures the maintenance of the highest standards of research quality, academic integrity, and global benchmarking in postgraduate education by evaluating the intellectual contribution and originality of doctoral candidates' work.

Role and Responsibilities

The External Examiner will be required to:

• Critically evaluate the quality, originality, and intellectual contribution of the doctoral research thesis.
• Provide a detailed written report assessing the thesis content before the oral defense (viva voce).

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

• Hold an earned doctoral degree (PhD/Fellowship) in a relevant academic field.
• Hold the academic rank of Senior Lecturer and above at an accredited university.
• Have at least 5 years professional experience in the field of specialization.
• Demonstrate substantial experience in doctoral supervision and external examination.
• Possess a record of recent and relevant scholarly publications in their area of specialization.
