Our schools actively value and celebrate diversity, nurturing personal growth by providing a friendly and supportive environment.\n\n### Role Overview\nThe Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing culinary operations, ensuring high standards of food production, and managing the kitchen team within an educational environment. The role involves menu innovation, adherence to strict safety standards, and effective budget management to provide nutritious and appealing meals to the school community.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen management.\n* Develop and innovate appealing, nutritious menus suitable for a diverse student body.\n* Ensure full compliance with HACCP, health & safety standards, and food safety regulations.\n* Manage culinary budgets and implement effective cost control measures.\n* Provide leadership, training, and organization to the kitchen team.\n* Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory effectively.\n\n### Key Requirements\n* Degree in Hospitality Management, Diploma in Food Production, or a relevant qualification.\n* Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in a school, hospitality, or catering environment.\n* Strong knowledge of HACCP, health & safety standards, and food safety regulations.\n* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\n* Ability to innovate and develop appealing menus.\n* Budget management and cost control experience.\n* Culinary qualification or relevant certification.\n\n### Application Requirements\n* Cover Letter.\n* Curriculum Vitae (CV) with three (3) professional referees.\n\n### How to Apply\nIf you possess the required qualifications and are passionate about contributing to a vibrant educational community, we invite you to apply by submitting your application to hillcrest.applications@braeburn.ac.ke with the subject email: .
