Machakos Institute of Technology (MIT) is seeking a qualified and experienced Examination Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing institutional and external examinations to ensure compliance with national standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the registration and administration of TVET, KNEC, NITA, and KASNEB examinations.
Coordinate internal examination processes including scheduling and invigilation.
Liaise with national examination bodies and relevant academic departments.
Ensure the security and integrity of all examination materials and records.
Maintain and update student examination data using the institution’s ERP system.
Communicate examination results and schedules effectively to students and staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, or Social Sciences.
More than 2 years’ experience in managing TVET, KNEC, NITA, or KASNEB examinations.
Excellent ICT skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A clear understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
