Job Description
Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is seeking a professional Escort Driver to provide logistics and security support for transport operations within the East African region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods across established routes, including long-distance and cross-border assignments.
Responsibilities
Provide professional escort and logistics support, ensuring safe and timely delivery across established routes.
Navigate and manage long-distance transport tasks across East African routes with high efficiency.
Conduct basic mechanical checks and minor repairs to ensure vehicle uptime and reliability during transit.
Coordinate closely with the logistics team to meet delivery schedules and maintain operational standards.
Requirements
Age: Must be 40 years of age or older.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience within the logistics industry.
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND level of education.
Licensing: Must possess a valid and clean driving license with a strong track record of road safety.
Regional Knowledge: Must be deeply familiar with East African road networks and cross-border routes.
Technical Skills: Basic mechanical experience is a significant advantage for troubleshooting on-road issues.
