Equipment Operator Foreman (Tier 2) - Manda Bay

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Equipment Operators and perform work as an Equipment Operator, as needed.
• Allocate equipment and personnel based upon project priorities.
• Communicate effectively with client, project personnel, and team members.
• Coordinate proper maintenance and repair of assigned equipment.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements at all times.
• Complete all necessary administrative requirements and perform duties of subordinate personnel as required.
• Operate light, medium, and some heavy equipment and light to heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to project construction, operations, and maintenance activities.
• Operate single axle dump trucks, dual axle dump trucks with automatic and manual transmissions, loaders, roller and compactors, tractors, sprayers, sweepers, plows, forklifts, backhoes, and related equipment.
• Check equipment condition and report major mechanical issues; perform minor or emergency repairs if needed.
• Train less skilled workers in operation and care of equipment.
• Perform manual labor or other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements

• High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four (4) to seven (7) years of related experience.

Other Requirements

• Job knowledge, skill level, and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate level.
• Must be certified and able to operate required equipment.
