The role involves managing the entertainment section of the news portal to ensure high-quality, engaging content for their audience.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Constantly monitor social media platforms to identify trending entertainment stories and viral content.\n* Write and publish high-quality entertainment stories that adhere to the company's in-house style guide.\n* Conduct in-depth interviews and produce special format articles, including features, analysis, and fact-checks.\n* Apply strong editorial judgment to prioritize news and ensure the accuracy and relevance of entertainment content.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n* Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) in Journalism, Communication, or a related field.\n* Considerable experience in journalism and specifically in entertainment writing.\n* Exceptional writing skills with a focus on narration and perfect grammar.\n* Impeccable verbal and written communication and interviewing skills.\n* Must be a strategic and analytical thinker with great editorial judgment.\n* Highly self-driven individual with a strong desire to learn, adapt, and work with minimal supervision.\n* Must be able to use social media effectively and have the ability to work remotely (requires a reliable internet connection and a laptop with at least an Intel Core i3 processor).\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply through the Tuko Media corporate portal by following the link provided in the application section.
