Role Overview
The Enterprise IT Account Manager is responsible for driving growth and managing relationships within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), Government, and Insurance sectors. The role involves overseeing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship management to the final collection of payments, while ensuring that the company's IT solutions align with the complex business objectives of high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Manage and nurture existing customer accounts to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify and develop additional business opportunities within assigned accounts and actively target new enterprise-level accounts.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to relationship management and payment collections.
- Target Achievement: Work towards aggressive sales targets and provide quarterly reports on progress.
- Relationship Coordination: Act as the primary link between the customer and the company, collaborating with internal departments to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Help customers solve difficult business challenges by aligning the company's value proposition with their business objectives.
Experience and Qualifications
- Education: BA/BSc or HND degree.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of work experience specifically in Enterprise IT Products & Services Sales.
- Account Management Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of dedicated experience in Account Management.
- Sector Expertise: Proven experience selling IT solutions into the BFSI, Government, and Insurance sectors.
- Product Focus: Experience must be with Enterprise IT products and support sales. Note: Candidates with experience limited only to laptops and printers will not be considered.
- Financial Track Record: Demonstrated experience working in an environment where the minimum handled sales target was at least USD 1 million in gross profit.
