Role Overview
The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and growing business within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), Government, and Insurance sectors. This role involves managing existing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to payment collection. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between customer business challenges and the company's IT solutions to ensure value alignment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management: Manage existing customer accounts and foster strong long-term relationships between the client and the company.
Business Development: Identify and develop additional business opportunities within assigned accounts and prospect for new targeted accounts.
Sales Cycle Execution: Handle the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, relationship management, and ensuring timely payment collections.
Target Achievement & Reporting: Work towards defined sales targets and report on a quarterly basis regarding progress and attainment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met and service levels are maintained.
Strategic Problem Solving: Help customers overcome difficult business challenges by aligning the company's value proposition with their strategic business objectives.
Requirements and Experience
Experience: 5-10 years of work experience specifically in Enterprise IT Products & Services Sales.
Account Management: A minimum of 5-10 years of dedicated experience in Account Management.
Sector Expertise: Proven sales experience within the BFSI, Government, or Insurance sectors is mandatory.
Financial Track Record: Previous experience working in an organization where the minimum handled sales target was at least USD 1 million in gross profit.
Product Knowledge: Extensive experience selling Enterprise IT products and providing related account management support.
Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND).
