SUN Mobility is a leading provider of universal energy infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs) using battery-swapping technology. Founded in 2017 as a joint venture between SUN Group and Maini Group, the company focuses on making electric mobility faster, cheaper, and more convenient for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and buses to accelerate mass adoption. As an Energy Network Electrician based in Nairobi, you will join a team dedicated to shaping EV infrastructure and making a real impact in the renewable energy and transport sectors.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components within the battery-swapping station network.
Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards and operational requirements.
Monitor network performance and perform routine checks to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the technical team to optimize the universal energy infrastructure for various EV segments.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and power distribution.
A passion for electric vehicle (EV) technology and sustainable energy solutions.
Proactive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
