Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment at client sites or within company premises. The role involves ensuring electrical systems, including control, wiring, and lighting systems, function efficiently and safely. ### Responsibilities - Maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. - Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints. - Perform general electrical maintenance and inspections of transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. - Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. - Repair or replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. - Conduct corrective maintenance on circuit breakers. - Apply knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems during maintenance. - Utilize various test equipment to ensure system integrity. - Troubleshoot and fix complex electrical systems. ### Key Performance Indicators - Effectiveness in task completion. - Minimal or zero client complaints. - Resource utilization and cost management. - Punctuality and minimal repeat works. ### Requirements - At least a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. - Professional Certifications from the National Construction Authority (NCA). - 1-2 years of experience working as an electrician. - Familiarity with electrical drawings and codes. - Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment. - Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. - Ability to repair heavy electrical machinery. - Good communication and reporting skills. ### Key Competencies - Hands-on experience with electrical systems. - Extensive experience in electrical installation and emergency repairs. ### How to Apply Only interested and qualified candidates should send their CV, Diploma/Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering copy, and National Construction Authority (NCA) professional certification license as one PDF document to jobs@summithrmc.com.
