To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young learners by delivering quality early childhood education that supports their cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development in line with the school's curriculum and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.
Assess learners' progress and maintain accurate records.
Promote learners' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to support learners' growth and development.
Participate in school meetings, events, and co-curricular activities.
Ensure the classroom is organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
Integrate technology and appropriate teaching resources into classroom instruction where applicable.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) from a recognized institution.
Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is an added advantage.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in an ECDE setting is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Passionate about nurturing young learners and promoting holistic development.
Ability to use integrated school management systems and digital learning platforms.
