This is an entry-grade position for Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) teachers. Working under the guidance of a senior teacher, the role involves professional mentoring and growth, focusing on the holistic development of young learners in Khwisero. The role includes implementing the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Teaching learners and acting as a role model, guide, counselor, and mentor.\n- Preparing learner reports and maintaining professional and administrative records (schemes of work, lesson plans, attendance registers, and health records).\n- Designing, organizing, and facilitating play and learning activities.\n- Ensuring the safety and security of the learners at all times.\n- Caring for and nurturing the spiritual, moral, social, mental, physical, aesthetic, and emotional growth (holistic development) of learners.\n- Preparing and developing play and learning materials and guiding learners in the same process.\n- Identifying and nurturing talent in learners.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\n- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or KCE Division IV at O’ Level.\n- Certificate in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) offered by KNEC or Ministry of Education or its approved equivalent.\n- Conversant with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and other emerging learning trends.\n- Must be registered by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).\n- Certificate in Computer Applications.\n\n### Terms of Service\n- Kshs. 23,700 - 31,450 per month.\n- Permanent and Pensionable.\n\n### How to Apply\n- Interested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Kakamega County website: .\n- Click on the option to fill and submit the Application Form.\n- Applications must be submitted on or before
