Driver – Grade III/IV

MNUC is seeking to recruit a qualified and competent individual for the position of Driver – Grade III/IV.

Person Specifications

• Cumulative service period of three (3) years’ relevant work experience at the grade of Driver I/II, or in a comparable position.
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution.
• A valid driving license (Classes D2 and D3).
• Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized and accredited institution.
• Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Certificate in Occupational Trade Test Grade III for Drivers.
• A refresher course for drivers lasting not less than one (1) week every three (3) years from a recognized and accredited institution.
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police.
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Terms of Service

Employment for all teaching and administrative positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms. The appointed candidates will be remunerated as per the Inter Public University Councils Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and 2021-2025 CBA approved salary rates.
