Job Description
Kilimall.co.ke, Kenya’s largest online shopping mall, launched in July 2014 with the mission to become the No.1 E-commerce platform in Africa. The company serves a retail customer base that continues to grow exponentially, offering products across various categories including Phones, Computers, Clothing, Shoes, Home Appliances, Books, healthcare, and Baby Products. The Dispatch Officer plays a crucial role in the company's operations, focusing on the timely and accurate handling and dispatch of customer orders within the warehousing and logistics chain. This position is essential for ensuring all received orders are efficiently processed, sorted, packaged, and shipped to meet strict daily timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform On Time Arrive scanning of received orders by 1700hrs daily.
Sort orders according to selected address types and KiliShops destinations.
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of orders before the loading process.
Maintain a high standard of 99.99% timely order shipping, ensuring all orders are dispatched by 2030hrs daily.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum Diploma qualification in any related course.
Experience: Experience in warehousing is considered an added advantage.
Competencies:
Must demonstrate a good understanding of Operations and Orderliness.
Proven accuracy in task handling.
Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
